1. Our commitment
We aim to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA so that EstateProxy can be used by people with a wide range of abilities and assistive technologies.
2. What we do
- Semantic HTML and landmark regions for screen readers
- Visible keyboard focus and skip links
- Color contrast that meets AA on both light and dark themes
- Descriptive alt text on user-uploaded photos where provided; we encourage Scouts to add condition notes
- Responsive layouts that work at 200%+ zoom and on small screens
- Form errors announced to screen readers
3. Known limitations
Some user-generated content (e.g., photos uploaded by Scouts) may not have alternative text. We're working to make condition notes more prominent so they double as alt text. If you encounter content you can't access, please let us know.
